Starkdale Presbyterian Church

The Church Mouse program begins every September as a way for our out-of-town students to stay connected to the church.  Each student is assigned to a secret church mouse who sends them care packages throughout the year.  We ask that students please fill out the Church Mouse Information Form with their updated information and return it to the church office.  If anyone is interested in becoming a new sponsor or would like to sponsor a student, please call the church office at (740) 264-5309.  Below are a few suggestions your student might like:

• Send a get-acquainted letter along with a gift.  Tell briefly about yourself, but be careful not to give yourself away.
• Magazines or paperback books
• Disposable camera
• Stamps, postcards or stationary
• Letters from everyone
• Money for a movie, pizza or VCR/DVD movie rental
• Pocket change for a Coke or ice cream
• Card (birthday, holidays, etc.) or a note of encouragement
• A small notebook
• A special Ohio do-ditty
• Any kind of fun little thing
• How about making a little stuff sack?  College critters always need little stuff sacks (soup, hot chocolate, macaroni & cheese, etc.)
• Try to send a goodie box at exam times during the year

Do not reveal yourself to your student until the end of the school year. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL MAILINGS SHOULD HAVE THE CHURCH’S RETURN ADDRESS SO THAT YOU DO NOT REVEAL YOUR IDENTITY:
