THIS IS A GREAT TIME OF FOOD, FELLOWSHIP
AND FUN
YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS
Our semi-annual chicken grills have grown due to the hard work of our congregation. Lead by our Clerk of Session, George Allan, his crew of chefs, prepare 225 chicken halves, roasting them over an open pit. Marge Allan organizes the servers, dishwashers and cooks as well as ordering the other supplies needed to make these fundraisers the success they have become. Ladies of the church prepare brownies, served with ice cream and fudge or caramel sauce, for the dessert in May. Sharon Petrilla and her group of workers prepare homemade apple dumplings for the September grill. These dinners have turned into a wonderful time of fellowship for the community and the men, women and teens of Starkdale who volunteer to work.
STARKDALE’S TRASH TO TREASURE SALE
|
It’s amazing what you think is trash – others think is treasure.
Anxious buyers waited in line outside for the doors to open at 9A.M. Many brought trucks, hoping to haul away the find of the day.
We would like to thank everyone who contributed as well as purchased.
Thank you to all the dedicated team members who year after year have made this a successful fundraiser.
We will now be able to purchase the tables for fellowship hall.
Start setting aside your “trash” for the next “treasure” sale. |
